Freezer tubs

Pack-Store offers a range of plastic freezer tubs specially designed to store meals and soups in the freezer for prolonged periods. Our tubs meet the highest and most recent food safety standards. We manufacture the tubs in our own factory in The Netherlands, which enables us to maintain excellent quality control.

Quality Distinction

All plastic tubs from Pack-Store are suitable for use in the freezer. However, we make a distinction in their usage:

1. Standard Quality = more susceptible to breakage upon impact

Our standard quality tamper evident tubs are made of polypropylene (PP), a fully recyclable plastic material that becomes soft and liquid at high temperatures, making it suitable for use in the injection molding process. Because PP is a very strong material, it has a wide range of applications.

Polypropylene can be frozen but is more susceptible to breakage upon impact. This means that this quality is less suitable for the distribution of frozen foods. If you use the plastic tubs at home or in a professional kitchen, you can confidently choose our standard plastic tubs . They are also sufficient for packaging takeaway and delivery meals.

2. Freezer Grade (RCPF) = completely break-resistant

The freezer grade containres are also made of polypropylene, but they contain a different raw material composition than the standard plastic tubs. We have added additives to the PP, making the tubs more impact-resistant and thus able to withstand rough handling.

This variant is particularly suitable for the frozen foods/ ice cream sector and supermarkets: industries where logistics processes and professional use of frozen packaging are an integral part of the (sales) process.

Tamper evident freezer grade tubs

Our freezer grade tubs feature a tamper evident closure (also known as a TE or ringlock cup). This ensures that the freezer tubs can be securely sealed. This special closure also gives the customer the guarantee that the freezer box has not been opened before.

We mainly sell transparent tubs, but we also have colored variants in our range. Additionally, all freezer tubs are microwave and dishwasher safe. Despite the fact that the tamper evident seal can only be used once, the freezer containers can be reused countless times (especially for home use)!
