Freezer tubs

Pack-Store has a very extensive range of plastic freezer tubs in which you can store meals and soups in the freezer for a longer period of time. If you buy at Pack-Store, you can be assured you’re getting the best value for your money!

The freezer tubs that you order from us meet the highest and most recent food safety standards. Because they are produced in our own factory in Oss (North Brabant), we keep control on the quality level!

Difference between freezer grade and freezer proof

All tubs are suitable for use in the freezer. However, there is a distinction here because there is a difference between freezer grade and freezer proof tubs:

1. Standard quality = more susceptible to breakage on impact Our standard quality plastic food containers are made of polypropylene (PP), a fully recyclable plastic material that becomes soft and liquid when heated strongly and can therefore be used in the injection molding process. Partly because PP is a very strong material, it has a very wide application. Polypropylene can be frozen, but is more susceptible to breakage on impact. This means that this quality is less suitable for the distribution of frozen foods. If you use the plastic containers at home or in the professional kitchen, you can safely choose our standard plastic freezer containers. The standard quality is also more than sufficient for packaging take-away and delivery meals.

2. Freezer grade (fully break-resistant) The freezer grade tubs are also made of polypropylene, but have a slightly different raw material composition than the standard plastic tubs. We have added some additives to the PP, which makes the tubs more impact-resistant and can therefore take a beating. This variant is particularly suitable for the ice cream industry and supermarkets: industries where logistics processes and the professional use of frozen foods are an integral part of the (sales) process. You can recognize the freezer grade products in our webshop by our special logo.

 

Freezer tubs with tamper evident seal

Almost all freezer tubs have a tamper evident seal. This makes the freezer tubs easy to close and leakproof. This special seal also offers your customer the guarantee that the freezer tub has not been opened before.

We mainly sell transparent freezer tubs, but we also have some white and black versions in our product range. In addition, all freezer tubs are microwave and dishwasher safe. Although the tamper evident seal can only be used once, the freezer tubs can be reused countless times (especially at home)!
